Bethel Police Charge Danbury Woman With Assault

BETHEL, CT — Bethel police have charged a Danbury woman with assault.

The Bethel Police Department responded to a disturbance at a Whippoorwill Road residence at 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 2.

Following a criminal investigation, officers charged Genesis Rodriguez, 21, of Miry Brook Road in Danbury, with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

Rodriguez was issued a misdemeanor summons and scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court the next day.
