Bethel Public Hearing Slated for Proposed Water Rate Increases

The Town of Bethel is holding a public hearing on proposed increases to water rates.

BETHEL, CT — The Town of Bethel is holding a public hearing on proposed increases to water rates. From the Town of Bethel:

"The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Bethel, Connecticut, pursuant to Connecticut General Statute § 7-239 hereby gives notice that a Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in Meeting Room “A” of the CJH Municipal Center, 1 School Street, Bethel, CT 06801 for the purpose of receiving public comments on proposed increases in the water rates. At such hearing the public and owners of all properties will have an opportunity to be heard on such proposed water rate increases for Fiscal Year 2017 through Fiscal Year 2021."

A copy of the existing water rates are available in the Office of the First Selectman, 1 School Street, Bethel, CT 06801 and may be viewed during normal business hours.
