Bethel School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

BETHEL, CT — The first day of school in Bethel is August 29 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Bethel School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/10: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/11: Evening Parent Teacher Conference (BHS)
• 10/12: Parent Teacher Conference / Early Dismissal (BHS)
• 10/19: Early Dismissal (Grades K-12)
• 10/24, 10/25, 10/26: Parent Teacher Conference / Early Dismissal (Grades K-3)
• 10/24, 10/25, 10/26: Parent Teacher Conference / Early Dismissal (JS and BMS)

November

• 11/6: No School (Professional Learning Day)
• 11/21: Early Dismissal (Grades K-12)
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/21: Early Dismissal (Grades K-12)
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January
