Bethel To Vote On School Renovations Tuesday: Report

The fate of two renovation projects will be decided Tuesday.

BETHEL, CT — A vote will be held Tuesday to decide the fate of two renovation projects at the Rockwell and Johnson elementary schools, the News Times reports. Residents will vote to approve the projects before Nov. 15 in order to keep the town in the running for a state grant.

The town has already applied for the grant, which would cover 45 percent of the project. The renovations would be approved only if the town gets the grant.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters in district one and four will vote at town hall, district two at the Stony Hill Fire House, District three and five will vote at the Berry School.
