Bethel's Power Outages, Road Closures Continue
Officials are reporting thousands of residents without power and several street closures.

BETHEL, CT — Around 35 percent of Bethel residents are still without power Monday afternoon, according to the Eversource Outage Map. The Bethel Emergency Management and Fire Marshal's Facebook Page indicates there are still several traffic impacts in town. .
- South Street from Nashville to Depot Place is closed due to poles and wires down.
- 84 Hoyts Hill Rd. is closed between Governors and Fawn Road for trees and wires down.
- 70 Wolfpits Road is closed between Sunset Hill and Codfish Hill for wires down.
- Linda Lane at Taylor Road is closed due to a tree on wires blocking the road.
- Area of 35 Rockwell Road closed between Plumtrees Road and Rte. 302.
- Rockwell Road between Plumtrees and Hoyt Road is closed due to a pine tree on wires.
- Traffic lights are out at Greenwood and Chestnut, Judd and Rte. 58, as well as Rte. 302 and Wolfpits Road.
- 200 Old Hawleyville Road and Clearview Avenue are open but wires are down in the area.
- Codfish Hill Road and Rte. 302 is open.
- Plumtrees Road between the Bethel Police Department and Maple Ave. Extension is open.
