Carlo R. Fiordelisi, 82, of Bethel, Passed Away Peacefully
Mr. Fiordelisi was a longtime resident of Stamford before moving to Bethel 29 years ago.
BETHEL, CT — Carlo R. Fiordelisi, 82, died peacefully at home on August 29, 2016. Born in Stamford, CT on November 6, 1933 to the late Anthony and Theresa Coppolla Fiordelisi, he was a longtime resident of Stamford before moving to Bethel, CT, 29 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, as well as his children, Livia Fiordelisi, Robert Fiordelisi and Annie (Kevin) Yates; his stepsons, Jordan Fields and Christopher Fields; and his grandchildren, Amy Fiordelisi, Katherine Laskey, Ethan Yates, Julia Yates, Braden Fields, Arieana Fields and Aizlyn Fields.
Carlo is predeceased by his siblings, Grace Sileo, Theodore Fiordelisi, John Fiordelisi, Anthony Fiordelisi and Rocco Fiordelisi.
A U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War, and a longtime member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Union, Carlo was a mason for many years in Stamford, CT. Among many other things, he will be remembered for his love of the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Giants, as well as his masterful cooking skills. His family will miss him dearly.
