Connecticut Martial Arts Inducted into National Hall of Fame

Connecticut Martial arts nominated national top school

On Sunday, March 9th, Connecticut Martial Arts instructors and school owners Steven Doyon, Roxanne Doyon, and Jared Dunn were inducted into the K.R.A.N.E. National Hall of Fame in Warwick, Rhode Island. Not only did CTMA win school of the year, several students were also awarded National Triple Crown Titles.

JoAnn Sainz, Michael Anderson, and Jackie Dinko of Bethel, Jalen Simmons, David Espinoza, Adhwaitha Devasani, and Jannaai Gomez of Danbury, Olivia Rodriguez of Newtown and Jeysmar Lozada of Waterbury won first place overall winner for the year, beating all others in their divisions.

New to competition this year, Julia Damasceno, Smithika Madan, and Nabhith Madan, of Bethel also competed at this event and won silver and gold medals in their respective divisions.

"It takes tremendous courage and dedication to be a top level competitor. These students have risen to the occasion, all winning their divisions." says Steven Doyon, 8th Degree Black Belt.
