DAWS will host its Joyce Allen Memorial Golf Tournament on June 9 to raise funds for local animal welfare programs.

BETHEL, CT — The Danbury Animal Welfare Society will host its annual "Putt FORE Paws – Joyce Allen Memorial Tournament" on Mon., June 9, 2025, at Redding Country Club.

Now in its fourth year, the event honors the memory of Joyce Allen, a dedicated supporter of animal welfare, and raises funds for DAWS’ mission of rescuing, caring for and rehoming cats and dogs across the region.

“We’re proud to bring the community together for our fourth year of honoring Joyce Allen’s legacy through this special event,” said Kate Furrer, event chair. “Each year, this tournament grows in both heart and impact, helping us raise the funds we need to continue our life-saving work.”
