If you see folks downtown marching, playing kazoos and wearing wild hats, don't worry— it's just P.T. Barnum's birthday celebration!
Bethel, CT — P.T. Barnum’s 206th Birthday crazy-beautiful-awesome-spectacular hat day & cacophony orchestra will once again be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Barnum Statue at the Bethel Public Library.

Join in for the annual celebration. Bring a super-crazy-beautiful-awesome hat, snack on top-hat cake & bring a musical instrument (made or found) to join in the happy birthday parade and march up and down Greenwood Ave.
