Happily Furever After Rescue Hosts Fourth 'Bark in the Park: In Memory of Tyler' In Bethel

The event's schedule includes a wide range of family- and pet-friendly activities.

BETHEL, CT — Happily Furever After Rescue will hold its fourth annual "Bark in the Park: In Memory of Tyler" on Saturday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bennett Memorial Park, 14 Shelter Rock Road in Bethel. The event commemorates Tyler, the dog who inspired the founding of the rescue and would have turned 11 on September 24. Tyler passed away from bone cancer in December 2021.

The rescue, which operates as a no-kill, foster-based nonprofit organization founded in 2020, uses the event both to honor Tyler’s legacy and to raise funds and awareness for its animal welfare mission.

Admission is free, though donations will be accepted. Proceeds from the day will go directly to supporting dogs and cats in the care of Happily Furever After Rescue.
