Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Bethel

BETHEL, CT — Another round of nasty weather is set to strike our area, and the National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook. All of southern Connecticut is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook, which calls for threats of flash flooding and a possible, albeit low, chance of damaging winds.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 61. South wind 5 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Wednesday
A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning.

Wednesday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Light and variable wind.
