UPDATE: Hundreds Lose Power Sunday Night After Thunderstorm, Roads Closed
118 Bethel residents, as well as dozens more in the area, are without power after Sunday night's storm and some roads are blocked off.
Eversource is reporting the following outages in the area due to thunderstorms in the area Sunday evening.

Weed and Walnut Hill Road in the Stony Hill area, as well as Chestnut Street downtown Bethel are blocked off due to downed wires. A reader reports that a power line is down near the Chestnut Hill Village Condos on Chestnut Street. It's a live wire so Eversource is responding. The road is closed off on Chestnut Ridge Road.
