Obituary: Lise (Samson) Decarie, 79, of Bethel

Lise Decarie, 79, of Bethel, CT passed away at home on Friday October 27, 2017.

Lise was born on December 8, 1937 in Montreal, Canada, the daughter of the late Marcel Samson and Simonne Samson. She was a member of the Moose Lodge most of her adult life and for over 40 years she looked forward to spending the summers with close friends (her 2nd Family) at Riverdale Farm Campsites in Clinton, CT. There were many outings with family and friends to Mohegan Sun where she loved playing slot machines. But her most favorite thing was spending time with her family and entertaining all those who loved her especially her beloved grandchildren.

Prior to retirement, she spent over 40 years in the Banking industry with most of her time at The Wilton Bank working as an Assistant Operations Manager.

She is survived by her 3 Children: Judi Irons of Flagstaff, AZ, Richard Decarie and his wife Sharon of Bethel, CT and Nicole Ji and her husband Sang of Duvall, WA. Grandchildren: Christina and Jessica Decarie and Nicholas and Mikaela Ji.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Grimes Rehab Center, FirstLight Home Care and the Danbury Regional Hospice Center for their amazing care and guidance.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests Donations in her name to Grimes Rehabilitation Center in New Haven, CT.
