BETHEL, CT — Peter D. Scott, 75, of Bethel, passed away at Danbury Hospital with his loving wife of 35 years, Marsha Scott, by his side. Pete was born in Danbury to Lorraine (McClure) and Edward Scott and was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical School, where he trained to be a mechanic by trade and continued his career with CL&P until he retired.
Pete was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and could be found out riding or in his garage, spending time working on his own motorcycles as well as others’ motorcycles and vehicles. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and following his favorite sports teams—the NY Yankees and NY Giants. He enjoyed country music and sipping his ice tea—lemonades while working around the yard, keeping everything beautiful and vibrant. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife, his family, and friends.
