• Former New Fairfield high school basketball coach pleads not guilty to sexual assault of student (newstimes.com) — A 27-year-old Bethel resident and former New Fairfield school employee has pleaded not guilty to multiple sexual assault and related charges involving a 15-year-old student. He remains held on a $350,000 bond and is due back in Danbury Superior Court for a pretrial hearing in February, after New Fairfield schools ended his employment in May.
