Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car In Bethel: Police

​The Bethel Police Department is investigating the crash that hospitalized one pedestrian Saturday night.

BETHEL, CT — One pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a motor vehicle in Bethel Saturday night.

The Bethel Police Department is investigating the crash that occurred at approximately 9:36 p.m.

Police say the preliminary investigation indicates one pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle while crossing Greenwood Ave. (Route 302) from north to south in the immediate vicinity of the Metro North railroad tracks. The eastbound vehicle struck a second pedestrian in the roadway.

One pedestrian was taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment.
