Pedestrian Struck In Hit-And-Run Accident In Bethel: PD
Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the vehicle and driver involved.

BETHEL, CT — A pedestrian was severely injured Monday night after being struck by a car which fled the scene, according to police.
Police were summoned to the area of 141 Nashville Rd. around 8:11 p.m. Monday for a report of an unresponsive male lying near the roadway.
Officers arrived and found the victim was breathing, but unresponsive, according to police.

The victim was rushed to Danbury Hospital for emergency medical treatment. Police did not release the victim’s identity or current condition as of Tuesday morning.
Police said they believe the victim was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on Nashville Road.

Investigators obtained both photo and video of the vehicle they believe was involved, which is described as a white, four-door sedan.
The driver fled the scene prior to police arrival. According to police, the vehicle will likely have damage on the passenger side.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
