Pre-Trial Date Set for Pizza Driver Accused of Sexual Assault of 14-Year-Old
A pizza delivery driver from Bethel is accused of sexual assault of a 14-year-old Danbury girl he met while delivering pizza.

BETHEL, CT — A pre-trial hearing date has been scheduled for the 30-year-old Bethel man accused of sexually assaulting and impregnating a 14-year-old Danbury girl, according to court records.
Felimon Cruz, 30, of Bethel, told police he thought the girl was 18 and in college. Court records revealed that he pursued her on the mobile app called "WhatsApp" and that the girl is now four months pregnant. Cruz was charged with second degree assault and risk of injury to a minor and his bond was set at $75,000.
Cruz has plead not guilty to both charges and remains incarcerated. He is due in court for a pre-trial hearing on Nov. 4, 2016.
