Shakespeare Reading and Talk at Bethel Public Library
This year marks the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death Bethel Public Library will celebrate the classic writers work.

Give a nod to the Bard at the Bethel Public Library on Thursday November 3, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. You’ll be enlightened and entertained! 2016 marks the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death, so Bethel Library staff is celebrating the life and works of this literary giant. Whether you are a Shakespeare aficionado like us, or you are new to the Bard of Avon, we invite you to come hear a live reading of excerpts from his work, and enjoy an informal presentation on a few of his cultural and linguistic contributions. Please note that the selected text will be geared toward audiences age 18 years and older.
Light refreshments will be served courtesy of Library staff, in honor of Ernest D’Aversa. Registration is required and limited to 30. Register through the Library’s online calendar at www.bethellibrary.org, call the Library at 203-794- 8756 x4, or sign up at the Library’s Reference Desk, Bethel Public Library, 189 Greenwood Avenue. All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Library two weeks prior to the program to make arrangements.
