Stop & Shop Donates Over $60K To CT Food Bank
The Food Bank accepted a donation of more than $60K from Stop & Shop, raised through annual special events at stores in the region.

The Connecticut Food Bank accepted a donation of more than $60,000 from Stop & Shop Supermarkets, raised through annual special events at stores in the region. Connecticut Food Bank Director of Community Engagement Sarah Morocco accepted the donation at Stop & Shop’s East Hartford offices on April 14.
Sarah Morocco thanked the Stop & Shop team for the gift. "For so many years, Stop & Shop has helped feed hungry neighbors with donations to the Connecticut Food Bank of food, funds and time. We are grateful for their ongoing commitment to fighting hunger in Connecticut."
