Sycamore Restaurant's Bookkeeper, Ruth Frances Vibbert, 84, of Bethel, Passed Away

BETHEL, CT — Ruth Frances Vibbert, age 84, of Bethel, CT died Friday, November 25, 2016 at her home. She was born in Bethel, CT, July 8, 1932 daughter of the late Albert H. Vibbert, Sr. and Maylah (Richardson) Vibbert.

Ruth worked as a bookkeeper for the local bus company for 30 years and later as a bookkeeper at the Sycamore Restaurant in Bethel. She liked to read, work on puzzle books and watch TV.

Ruth is survived by her sister: Ethel L. Peck of Bethel and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother: Albert "Red" Vibbert, Jr.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regional Hospice & Home Care, 30 Milestone Rd., Bethel, CT 06810 or to Bethel VNA, 70 Stony Hill Rd., Bethel, CT 06801.

The funeral will be held at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Thursday morning at 11:00. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel.
