Town of Bethel to Hold 9/11 Memorial Service

Bethel's police, fire and EMS members will join in a short procession beginning at the South Street fire house at approximately 5:45 p.m.

BETHEL, CT — The Town of Bethel will hold a 9/11 Memorial Service on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 at 6 p.m. on the Municipal Center lawn, 1 School Street, top honor those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks 15 years ago. Join the First Selectman, honored guests, the Bethel Police Department and members of both Bethel and Stony Hill Fire Department in remembering this tragic day. In the event of rain, services will be held in the Municipal Center's General Purpose room.

There will be a short procession of police, fire, EMS members beginning at the South Street fire house at approximately 5:45 p.m., heading down Rector Street, crossing over Greenwood Ave., through P.T. Barnum Square and ending on School Street at 6 p.m. for the Memorial Service.
