University of Connecticut Master Gardener Program is Accepting Applications for 2017
The University of Connecticut Master Gardener Program classes will meet in Bethel, West Hartford, Brooklyn and Haddam.

BETHEL, CT — The University of Connecticut Master Gardener Program is accepting applications for 2017, according to an article on The Day. The program trains people interested in broadening their gardening knowledge and sharing it through community volunteerism.
The 16-week session starts in January with classroom hours followed by 60 hours of volunteer service to be completed by September 2017. Participants who complete the program will receive a University of Connecticut Cooperative Extension Master Gardener certification.
Classes will meet in West Hartford, Brooklyn, Haddam, Bethel, and Stamford. The charge for the program is $425. Applications can be downloaded at: mastergardener.uconn.edu. Completed applications must be postmarked by Oct. 28, 2016.
