Obituary: Ada May Schilpp, 96, of Bethany
Ada was a member of the ladies guild of St. Vincent Catholic Church in Naugatuck and the Farm Bureau of Bethany for many years.
BETHANY, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) Ada May Schilpp, 96, a longtime resident of Bethany passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Patrick Schilpp. Survived by daughters Linda Hitchock of Reading VT and Jo-Ann Barrett of Waterbury, her twin sister Adele Anderson of North Branford, grandchildren Jeremy and Brandy Barrett, Peter Schilpp Jr., Samantha Mather and Scott, Keith and Jenny Hitchock.
Also 12 great-grandchildren and a great great grandson.
She was predeceased by a son Peter Joseph Schilpp.
Ada was born Oct. 2,1924 in West Haven a daughter of the late John and May Young Shove and was a graduate of West Haven High School.
She was a member of the ladies guild of St. Vincent Catholic Church in Naugatuck and the Farm Bureau of Bethany.
Funeral service will be Monday, Aug. 2,2021 at 11:00 am in Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden.
Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am.
