Woodbridge Marks a Once-in-a-Lifetime Date with Town-wide Celebration

"One Day. One Code. One Unique Woodbridge Celebration"

WOODBRIDGE, CT —

As Woodbridge prepares to celebrate 06525 Day on Thursday, June 5, the Town is excited to share new details about this once-in-a-lifetime community celebration.

The celebration, named for the rare calendar date that matches our ZIP code(06.5.25 = 06525), will feature a Community Meet-Up taking place at Pease Park from 3:30 to 6:00 PM and is designed as a family-friendly drop-in celebration open to all residents.

The First Selectman’s Office will provide residents with pizza from Woodbridge-owned Silver Sands Pizza, and, thanks to event sponsor and Emergency Medical Services Provider, AMR New Haven, attendees will enjoy complimentary ice cream from Woodbridge’s own MicroCreamery. (All While Supplies Last)

“This isn’t just a fun coincidence , it’s a unique opportunity to come together as neighbors to celebrate what makes our town special,” said First Selectman Mica Cardozo.”We hope our residents, families, and businesses will be part of this shared moment.”

Woodbridge’s new (and first-ever) Poet Laureate Charlotte Allen will be debuting an original piece written especially for 06525 Day, a tribute to the community, connection, and spirit of our town.

In the lead-up to the event, the 06525 Community Photo Contest invites residents to submit a photo that captures the spirit of Woodbridge. Each photo submission will count as an entry. Six winners will be chosen to receive a $50.00 gift card from Katz’s Deli.

Many of Woodbridge’s businesses are offering Exclusive 06525 Day Deals, with free and discounted services, giveaways, custom menus, and more.
