Woodbridge Police Arrest New Haven Man, 33, Charged with Robbing Bank
Police say the man robbed TD Bank on Amity Road in Woodbridge last September.

Woodbridge police on Tuesday arrested a New Haven Man charged with robbing the TD Bank at 128 Amity Rd. last September.
Police gave this account (accusations not proven in court) of the robbery and investigation:
Salvadore Edwards, 33, of Brooklawn Circle in New Haven, entered the bank on Sept. 30, demanded cash and then ran away toward Amity Shopping Center, where he left in a waiting vehicle.

Hamden police recently arrested Edwards for a bank robbery in that town, and he was identified as being responsible for the Woodbridge robbery, as well.
Edwards was charged by Woodbury police with second-degree robbery, fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy. He was held on $125,000 and was arraigned the same day, Tuesday, in state Superior Court in New Haven.
