An Ansonia resident won $25,0000 on an Ultimate 7s scratch ticket that was sold at Jhan Food Mart LLC at 380 East Main St. in Branford, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
