Branford Cops Investigate Stop & Shop Parking Lot Gunpoint Carjacking
Friday night, a man was carjacked, and though a brief police pursuit followed, and the car recovered, the juvenile suspect got away: PD.

BRANFORD, CT — A Friday night gunpoint carjacking in the Stop & Shop parking lot has investigators still looking for the suspect, police said.
It was around 7:15 p.m. when Branford police gt a 911 call from a man who said his vehicle was stolen from him at gunpoint in the grocery store parking lot, according to Branford police Lt. Corrianne Carangelo.
Branford police recovered the vehicle in New Haven shortly after a brief pursuit, Carangelo said.

The victim identified the person as a Black male "juvenile" with his face partially covered with a bandana, according to police.
