Branford Football Star Heads to Baltimore Ravens Rookie Camp
A local Branford football player is going to the Baltimore Ravens rookie camp.

BRANFORD--Branford's own Kyle Nolan is heading to the Baltimore Ravens Rookie Mini Camp today.
According to Georgetown University's athletics website, Nolan, a senior quarterback for Georgetown, received the prestigious invite earlier this week.
GUHOYA.com reports that Nolan is attending the rookie minicamp with the Baltimore Ravens from May 5-8.

"Nolan will work out during the Ravens’ camp with the hope of earning a free agent contract and an invitation to training camp in August," the report states.
"'Kyle Nolan is one of the most physically gifted and intelligent players I have coached over the past 20 years,” Head Coach Rob Sgarlata told GUHOYA.com.

Nolan told the university that he called his parents once he heard the news.
"'Emotionally my Dad, who played quarterback at Southern Connecticut State and played semi-pro, really helped me through this process. He helped me keep my head on my shoulders and keep pushing forward,'" Nolan said in the article.
