Branford Gun Shop Owner Displays Support For President Trump

BRANFORD, CT - The owner of the Hunter’s Shop in Branford is making his feelings clear on his support for President Donald Trump.
On the garage leading into the shop is a big, red sign saying “TRUMP - Make America Great Again.”
Trump has been a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. Gun right supporters have been under siege in recent months in the wake of several mass shootings, including the worst mass killing in the country’s history at a concert in Las Vegas in which 58 people were killed and several other multiple fatality killings involving guns - including at schools.

Gun control advocates have, in the wake of the shootings, tried to re-energize the movement to have Congress pass tougher gun ownership and control laws.
Trump has vowed that Second Amendment will not be repealed.

He has repeatedly tweeted “THE SECOND AMENDMENT WILL NEVER BE REPEALED!,” adding that many Democrats would like to see that happen. Trump’s tweets on the subject have traditionally added: “We need more Republicans and must always hold the Supreme Court!”
