Branford Man Involved in Serious I-95 Accident That Pins 2 Women to Barrier
The Branford man was issued an infraction for his role in the accident.

Two women were pinned to Interstate 95’s jersey barrier after a Branford man crashed into a truck stopped on the side of the road, the New Haven Register reported. The women, who were hospitalized with serious injuries, had gotten out of their car because it had caught fire, and the truck operator was stopped to help them.
Jack Charles Tiernan, 19, of Branford, was northbound in the right lane of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge when he crashed into the truck from behind, which caused the truck to run into the women and pin them to the barrier, the Register reported.
Tiernan was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and was discharged early Friday morning, the Register reported. He was issued an infraction for failure to drive in an established lane.
