Branford One Step Closer to Having a Senior Center

BRANFORD--Branford is one step closer to having its own senior center.

The Planning and Zoning Commission approved a plan earlier this month that will create a senior center in the town's Community House, according to The Branford Eagle.

The commission approved a measure to expand the current Community House that will include a new senior center, The Eagle reports.

Expansion of the Community House, which includes renovating the gym and adding an elevator, could start as early as the fall and take about one year to complete, The Eagle reports.
