BRANFORD, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $50,000 was recently sold in Branford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
A Branford resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $50,000 on a Money Rush scratch ticket that was sold at Haris & Ayesha Food Mart at 49 Leetes Island Rd. in Branford, according to lottery officials.
The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
