We asked Patch Readers what they thought the biggest safety issues were in their town. Here’s a list of the most pressing problems, from break-ins to traffic jams:

  • "The traffic light in front of Starbucks. When you come around the bend from East Main, cars in the left lane push you out of your lane and cut you off. And the McDonald's at the top of the hill, people turn left on the red light into McDonald's crossing lanes of traffic. You had a red light!"
  • "Cars blowing through school bus red lights and stop signs, every day on my run"
  • "The East Haven border."
  • "People that don't stop for signs/lights."
