Branford Restaurant's Liquor License Suspended For One Day
The Main Street restaurant paid a $500 fine for refusing to cooperate with an enforcement agency. Its license will be suspended on Aug. 30.
BRANFORD, CT — A Branford restaurant will have its liquor license suspended for one day and has been fined, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.
Italian restaurant Doma on Main, located at 576 Main Street, paid a $500 fine for "refusal of cooperation by permittees and backers," meaning that a permittee or backer – or their agent – refused to cooperate with or give information to the department, police or another enforcement agency "upon any matter arising out of the conduct of the permit premises."
Doma's liquor license will be suspended on Aug. 30, according to state records.
