Branford’s Olt Leads Red Sox Minor League Team in Home Runs

BRANFORD, CT - At the mid-way point of the year, Branford’s Mike Olt is the leading home run hitter for the Boston Red Sox AAA affiliate in Pawtucket.

Olt has 10 homers for Pawtucket. He also has knocked in 25 runs.

Olt’s played first base, third base and did some designated hitting for Pawtucket

Olt, 29, hit 16 homers and knocked in 57 runs in 113 games last season in AA Portland.

Olt has appeared in 135 Major League games with Texas (2012), Chicago Cubs (2014-15), and Chicago White Sox (2015).
