Branford Schedules Meeting on Plan of Development for June 13th
Town has been soliciting input on future development options for Branford; on June 13th officials will go over plans with town residents.

BRANFORD, CT - The Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) Update Steering Committee has scheduled a public meeting to get input from residents and businesses and property owners as part of updating the POCD for Branford. The public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 13th from 7-9 p.m. at the Blackstone Library.
The Committee is seeking feedback on its draft of the 2018 Plan of Conservation and Development. The Draft 2018 POCD is available on the Town website at www.branford-ct.gov.
Following the public meeting, the POCD Update Steering Committee will review the comments received and further refine its Draft 2018 POCD before submitting it to the Planning and Zoning Commission for consideration. It is anticipated that the Planning and Zoning Commission will schedule a public hearing on adoption in the Fall of 2018.

Branford residents are encouraged to come to the meeting to help ensure that the 2018 Plan of Conservation and Development reflects community goals. “This Plan is an important document which will be used to guide future conservation and development activity over the next decade and beyond,” said Phil Carloni, Chair of the POCD Update Steering Committee.
