Coastal Core Pilates Grand Opening in Branford This Saturday Branford

BRANFORD, CT — Describing itself as a "new boutique reformer studio rooted in community and whole-person wellness," Coastal Core Pilates opens Saturday in Branford.

The South Main Street Pilates studio believes, "true wellness starts at the core — physically, mentally, and emotionally."

Noting its mission is to "create a space where people can move, connect, and grow together," it's "not just a Pilates studio — we’re a community built on strength, balance, and belonging."

Coastal Core Pilates co-founder Alexandra Galletti said the goal has been to create that space. And its grand opening, featuring local vendors, giveaways, and refreshments, is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Our goal has always been to create a space that builds community and meets everyone where they’re at," Galletti said. "When you walk into the studio, we want you to feel like you’ve stepped out of Connecticut for a bit — to leave the noise of everyday life behind and just reset, recharge, and focus on yourself for those 50 minutes."

To celebrate its grand opening, Coastal Core Pilates is partnering with local vendors to highlight some amazing small businesses that make Branford special. Guests can enjoy giveaways, local treats, and light refreshments while exploring the studio’s modern, earthy design — a reflection of the calm and connection at the heart of Coastal Core.

"We get that Pilates can feel intimidating at first, but we want everyone to know they’re welcome here," Taylor Walsh, co-founder of Coastal Core Pilates, said. "Our goal is to make every person who walks through the door feel comfortable and confident. We truly want others to experience the same love we have for Pilates and become part of our community.
