Construction Projects Alter Branford Voting for Aug. 14th Primary

Ongoing construction projects in Branford has changed polling locations for the upcoming Democratic and Republican primaries on Aug. 14th

BRANFORD, CT - Construction projects ongoing in Branford has changed polling locations for District 1 and District 7 voters for the upcoming Aug. 14th primary.

District 1 has been changed from the Branford Community House to the Branford High School Old Gym on 185 Main Street; District 7 has been changed to from the Walsh Intermediate School to the Tisko Elementary School on Damascus Road.

Republican and Democrat Primary to be held Tuesday August 14, 2018 from 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.

The Republican Primary Offices are for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, United States Senator, State Treasurer, Comptroller and Attorney General.

The Democrat Primary Offices are for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State Treasurer, and Attorney General.

To be eligible to vote in the Primary you must be on that Party’s enrollment list in Branford for their Party’s Primary.

Each of the Seven District Polling Locations for the primaries will be open from 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Special Voter Registration and/or enrollment sessions for voting in Republican or Democrat Primary will be held on the following dates, at The Registrar of Voters Office 40 Kirkkam Street.Tuesday July 31, 2018 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M; Monday August 13, 2018 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon.

Thursday August 9, 2018 is the deadline for registering and/or enrolling for voting in the Primary by mail.
