CT Green Bank Hosts Home Battery Webinar For Branford Residents
Learn about the system that, when paired with solar panels, may be more affordable than anywhere else: Branford Clean Energy Committee.
BRANFORD, CT —The Branford Clean Energy Committee is currently engaged in a special “Energy StorageSolutions” program to educate homeowners about the benefits of having a battery back-up system to power their homes with clean energy.
The campaign is supported by the nationally known non-profit organization called SmartPower and is locally known as PowerSmart Branford.
“This is an example of another initiative in which residents can protect themselves and their homes from rising utility rates while creating a more resilient local grid infrastructure," First Selectman Jamie Cosgrove said. The program furthers the town's "renewable energy goals and I encourage residents to register for this webinar to learn more about this program," he said.
