Denise D’Ascenzo Remembered With “Moment of Silence” In Branford
Branford Representative Town Meeting honors television news anchor who passed away last week.

BRANFORD, CT - The Branford Representative Town Meeting stopped its regular business this week to hold a solemn “moment of silence” for Branford resident and Channel 3 news anchor Denise D’Ascenzo who passed away last Saturday.
RTM member Fran Twohill led the moment of silence to remember D’Ascenzo, who he referred to as one “of Branford’s and the state’s finest.” He added that she “was loved in Branford and throughout the state.”
D'Ascenzo, and her family, have been longtime residents of the town of Branford.
