East Shore District Health Hosts October Covid-19, Flu Vaccine Clinics
Covid-19 and flu vaccines will be available at clinics in Branford, East Haven and North Branford and in other nearby towns starting in Oct.

BRANFORD, CT — The East Shore District Health Department will hold public COVID-19 vaccine clinics at its offices in Branford as well as community-based clinics in several nearby towns.
The health department is providing the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to anyone age 12 and older. In a news release, the health department noted that the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone six months and older receive an updated COVID-19 vaccine.
"As immunity to COVID-19 decreases over time, receiving an updated COVID-19 vaccine can restore protection and provide greater protection against the variants currently responsible for most infections and hospitalizations throughout the country," the health department news release reads.
