Farmington Architectural Firm Selected for Branford's Combined Community and Senior Center
Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to selected Quisenberry Arcari Architects for the project.

Quisenberry Arcari Architects, a Farmington architectural firm with a history of successful senior center projects, has been approved as the architectural firm that will create Branford’s new combined Community Center and Senior Center at what is now the Community House, according to Shore Publishing.
The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to approve the recommendation made June 24 that would select the firm for the project, Shore Publishing reports.
The proposal includes interior and exterior renovations and additions to the Branford Community House that will create a “shared-use” facility to replace the current Canoe Brook Senior Center.

The recommended concept will improve access to community resources and public transportation for Branford seniors, the first selectman James Cosogrove has said.
“This proposal gives our seniors increased space, safer access and more resources,” Cosgrove has said. “It is over 14,000 usable square feet bigger than Canoe Brook, with 10 acres of contiguous outdoor area for recreational and outdoor program area.”
