Guilford FD Help in Putting Out Boat Fire, Evacuating Passengers

The Guilford Fire Department and the Coast Guard Station in New Haven worked together to put out the boat fire and evacuate passengers.

GUILFORD, CT - The Guilford Fire Department were assisted by the United States Coast Guard Station in New Haven Friday in helping put out a boat on fire in Guilford Harbor safely evacuating its passengers.

The USCG Station said this about the rescue on its Facebook page:

The station responded with Guilford Fire Department to a vessel on fire near Guilford Harbor yesterday afternoon. All of the eleven passengers were safely evacuated.”
