Kittens In Need of Supplies in Branford

Branford Compassion Club is taking care of 27 kittens and they are in need of supplies. BCC provided a 'most needed' list:

• Yesterday's News and Oko Cat paper litter
• Royal Canin Babycat
• Purina One dry kitten kibble
• Canned pate kitten food, chicken or turkey

"Our adoption fees only cover about half of what it costs to raise and vet a kitten, and as we are not a municipal shelter, we receive no town funding," Branford Compassion Club stated via Facebook.

'Lovely Rita' is pictured above and nursing her eight kittens.

"They are too young to be seen or adopted yet," BCC said. "We are busy starting to match up pre-approved adopters with kittens as they near adoption age! Moms will need homes, too!"
