'Loving, Sincere, Thoughtful': Branford Star Student

BRANFORD, CT — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Ania Pulcinella who nominated her grandson Dylan, of Branford.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Dylan is one of the most kindest, hardworking young men that I have observed in my lifetime. He is a High Honor student while taking AP coursed. In elementary school, Dylan received an award for his outstanding help with special needs children. Dylan is involved in all aspects of the state and theatre, including a lead role at THE KATE and being a double in a movie in NYC, in addition to being a member of numerous local theatre groups and always performs during holidays and when asked. He has worked numerous jobs since he has been 14 years old and currently working at Ashley's Ice Cream in Guilford.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Dylan is loving, sincere, thoughtful person, and a friend to everyone and never complains or refuses anyone who needs his help
