Massive Pickleball And Padel Facility Approved In Branford: Report

The complex will be 21,760-square-feet, and it will house Pickleball and Padel courts.

BRANFORD, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission has unanimously approved creation of an indoor/outdoor pickleball and paddle court complex at 61 East Industrial Road, according to meeting minutes from Oct. 19.

Meeting minutes state that the complex will be 21,760-square-feet and it will house Pickleball and Padel courts and also the addition of outdoor Pickleball and Padel courts.

According to meeting minutes, "Perry Maresca (Economic Business Development Manager) – He has seen the plans and met onsite and he felt it was impressive. Pickleball is popular and there are other courts in the area. He felt indoor courts are needed as well and the location is ideal. The shared parking will be beneficial as well. He noted it’s an ideal use of the property."

The Shore Line Times reports that The Hinding Group of Branford, plans to begin construction within a month.

The project also features high-end locker rooms, and a "brewery tap bar," the Shore Line Times reported. The facility will be called All World Pickle and Padel, according to the Shore Line Times. (Read more at the Shore Line Times).
