Meet Olivia Broderick: A Calm, Reassuring Voice On The Other End Of An Emergency Call
Branford police welcomed Broderick, a UNH graduate and former BPD intern, to its team as a public safety dispatcher.

BRANFORD, CT — Hers will be one of those calm, reassuring voices at the other end of what may be an emergency call.
The Branford Police Department welcomed Dispatcher Olivia Broderick to its team in a Facebook post Monday.
Dispatcher Broderick graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a concentration in Forensics and Criminal Justice.

She also completed an internship at the Branford Police Department, which "strengthened her interest in public safety and inspired her to pursue a career as a dispatcher," police said.
"Olivia is excited for the opportunity to serve and support the community here," police wrote. "Wishing her a safe and successful career with the BPD."
