New Branford Cop Also National Guard Member Who Completed Air Assault, Airborne, Ranger School

BRANFORD, CT — Branford police has another new cop on the beat.

According to the Branford Police Department, Officer Garrett Barnes graduated cum laude from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science in National Security, Concentration in International Security.

Police posted to social media that Barnes also commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army and now serves in the Massachusetts National Guard where he has completed Air Assault, Airborne, and Ranger School.
