Obituary: Ann Rosalie Mucchiari Castellon, 92, of Branford
She had worked as a legal secretary and after marriage worked for her family business, Castellon Bros. Bakery in Branford, for many years.
Ann Rosalie Mucchiari Castellon of Branford passed away Thursday February 8, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Ann was born in Brooklyn New York on October 5, 1931, daughter of the late Antonio and Lena Minando Mucchiari. She had worked as a legal secretary and after marriage worked for her family business, Castellon Bros. Bakery in Branford, for many years.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 72 years, Henry Castellon Jr., and their children, MaryLee Collopy of Branford, Anthony (Cindy) Castellon of Branford, and Patti (Mark) Kennedy of Ponte Vedra Beach Florida; seven grandchildren, Tracy and Jim Collopy, Stephen, Allison, and Brian Castellon, Zachary (Kaitlin Ponce) Kennedy, and Amanda (Ryan) Wernli and one great grandchild, Henry Kennedy.
The family would like to thank the caregivers from Euro-American Homecare, Peggy Dowd, and Ann’s very caring neighbors and friends for their love and support.

Ann was predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Frank Mucchiari.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Mary Church, 731 Main Street, Branford, on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Visiting hour prior to Mass from 9:00 - 10:15 at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ann’s name to Home Care Plus Community Healthcare & Hospice.
